LA CIUDADANÍA SE MOVILIZA CONTRA LA EXTERNALIZACIÓN DE FRONTERAS EUROPEAS
Sábado, 23 de noviembre de 2019 – Convocadas por la Red Solidaria de Acogida (RSA) y más de 40 colectivos de la ciudadanía, dos centenares de personas se concentraron el pasado sábado en la madrileña plaza de Callao para denunciar los acuerdos de la Unión Europea con Marruecos, Libia y Turquía, países de tránsito migratorio, que tienen como fin externalizar la frontera europea y conducen a graves violaciones de derechos humanos.
Múltiples personas migrantes se animaron a contar su testimonio en el micro abierto colocado en la plaza, a través del cual se quiso dar espacio a aquellas voces que sufren en primera persona las crueles consecuencias de las fronteras, y se llamó a la “solidaridad de los pueblos” para crear un frente común contra las “políticas de los poderosos”.
Nos acompañó asimismo Stefano Caselli, activista de Mediterranea Saving Humans, organización italiana con dos barcos de rescate bloqueados en puertos italianos por salvar vidas en el Mediterráneo.
